Produce Donations

Through our partnership with George Mason's President's Park Greenhouse, we rescue surplus produce and donate it to local food banks. Rather than letting fresh, nutrient-rich lettuce go to waste, we ensure more families have access to healthy, fresh food.

This fresh produce, which includes lettuce, swiss chard, sorrel, and many more veggies, is grown right here in our community using hydroponic methods and minimal pesticides. The produce is harvested within a week of reaching the food banks.
